I love the Selectric. Did you know that actually you can erase text on it? The correction key is a different one than the backspace, on the bottom of the keyboard.
There's a typewriter store here in Berkeley. The Inkhaven team just randomly went out and got a couple. They didn't come with manuals or anything. I'll have to try this! (Although it might be out of white-out.)
